Bible Camp, Church Camp, Kids Camp, its all about changing lives. In order to select a camp pastor for ANY age group what do you look for?
Probably:

Knowledge of scripture, experience, humor, and ability to connect the message to the hearts of the campers. What do you NOT look for?

a clown. But take a moment to consider what thousands upon thousands of campers (and their counselors and camp directors ) already know. Chagy is a compelling and imaginative camp pastor who delivers a life changing, challenging, appropriate, and introspective camp experience.

Chagy begins the week without make-up. But the topic of changing lives comes up when Chagy puts on his make-up in front of the campers. Energy, truth, context, and a joyful grace filled messages resonates from the stage as the week goes on, until eventually Chagy removes his make-up before he sends the campers on their way. Why? As Chagy cleans his face in a dramatic moment before campers head home, he speaks specifically to the tendency to live a double life, or wear a "mask" to hide from the world.

Chagy uses this time to illustrate what it means to truly follow Christ without shame. Of course you will get a world class juggler, magician, mime, clown, and all around entertainer, but all of this is showcased in order to guide your campers to have a meaningful encounter with God that they will never forget.

Of course you will get a teacher who has a Master's Degree in Religious
Education from Southwestern Batpist Theological Seminary, but don't hold that against him either. Baptists call Chagy "grace filled" and Pentecostals call him "anointed".

He preaches in English and he preaches in Spanish. He challenges the privileged and encourages the disadvantaged. You see, a clown (not unlike a pastor) is merely the vessel for a message. Don't expect a clown. Don't expect a pastor. Expect more.
Expect a communicator who ACTUALLY penetrates through socio-economic, age, and cultural walls.
